Day One of Vacation

If these past few days are any indicator of how my year is going to go, then I am all for it.

I went home to New Mexico for vacation where I saw beautiful blue skies, experienced 90 degree DRY heat, and had quite a few awesome adventures.

Lets start on Thursday. Coming in I knew that my mom had awesomely given me her massage at 1pm. Which I was SO excited for. I have been so stressed out lately, you don't even know, heck I didn't even know. So. I come into town at 9:30 (yeah, so early!) and immediately went home to hang wit' my mom. We had tea and brownies. Then I laid on the hammock, took a shower, and painted my toenails. THEN I went to the massage...

Best Massage Ever. I decided to meditate the full hour of the massage. Trying to let out this past year (lets face it, it sucked) and breathe in the new year with a positive outlook. Good lord that was a great massage.

Well...I had won a $25 gift certificate from my river boat job (in time for my bday!) to Old Navy and I wanted to go there next. But before we did that, my mom got some sandwiches and we went to a park and ate them in the shade. It was SO relaxing.

I found a sweet hot pink skirt at old navy in addition to pants for $4, and 2 shirts! What a DEAL.

After that we went home and I proceeded to smother my dog (my moms dog) Meeka with kisses for like 3 hours. We had macaroni & cheese and apple sauce for dinner (my favorite) and then we all hung out for a bit with Mandy at Gardunos drinking delicious drinks.

Tangent- did you know Gardunos is going under?

That was the end of DAY ONE. if you can believe it. And it wasn't even my birthday.
