Welcome to My World

I had a dream the other day. One of those wonderful, vivid, all over the place, dreams.

I thought I'd share it with you.

World #1
I'm in this open 4 story warehouse. Escaping from zombies with my friends and some people we happened to run into. There wasn't any furniture on any of the floors and the walls were painted in horizontal stripes the colors were red, black, and yellow. We were making our way up to the top floor in an elevator. The doors elevator doors opened and there were other people there waiting for us. With guns. They were after us along with the zombies. They didn't shoot right away and I took that opportunity to pick up a trash can and hit the people with it. Hit the guns out of their hands. I was doing a wonderful job, if I might say so myself, and realized that no one else was helping me. So I got mad, hit a guy real hard with the trash can and ran away. If they weren't helping me, I wasn't going to help them. I ran out the door to my right and climbed up a metal sheet wall. Those were a muted blue and red color. I nimbly flipped up onto the roof and saw...

World #2
The sky was open and blue. I saw the Sandia mountains in the background and was on the left roof of the warehouse. There were houses right next door. More like...shacks. Metal roofed and horribly built, I stood up and looked around. I saw across the way a place where I could escape to. Between me and salvation was an enclosed "field". Instead of weeds, plants, or dirt there were patches of old tarps and hot air balloons. I leapt down and ran, like a wolf, towards the black shade that hid the door. I heard behind me the evil guys saying they couldn't get up onto the roof and I escaped..into...

World #3
A hospital. A 1950s clean, window bright, blue nurses uniformed, hospital. I was there with a friend. I'll call her Buffy. We walked around the hallways and avoided nurses and tried to find a way out of there. To get away from the evil gun toting men. The walls were tile and the nurse I remember had long dark hair pulled back into a pony tail. They were taking care of patients, not even noticing we were there. And we found a way out...

World #4
Outside was present day. Clear skies and happy people. In fact there were a LOT of people walking around. We were in a strip mall, with a movie theatre on our left and a mall on our right. Balloons were flying around and people were with thier families. I said to my friend Buffy we should just go see a movie and have at least 2 hours without having to think about the zombies. I then looked at the mall, which had a wall made up of windows and glitter lights all around inside. I also mentioned to Buffy something like "wow, these people are taking the zombie outbreak pretty well, it looks like we'll be fine". So we got into a car and left...

World #5
We were driving down a street in a neighborhood that had massive houses and neatly cleaned yards. I was narrating as we drove down saying and immediatly seeing what I said... "I would love to just have a day where I can just lay out in the sun and party with my friends. Have my own place to live and take care of"...

World #6
As the sun set, we drove down a street with a dead end. One side had a green fence and just regular plains behind it. In the middle of the street was a very beautiful median and on the left side were newly built mansions. They all had scuptures in the front yards, one being a giant skull of a triceritops. I walked down looking at all the sculptures like it was a museum, and realized the houses were built upon old graveyards where historical things used to be. To build there they took those artifacts and put them up into thier yards. We reached the end of the street and I had a feeling that I had been there before...

World #7
The day had started to end and it was turning into night...I looked past the green fence and saw a giraffe running around. It was a zoo. In particular it was the Denver Zoo. I said to my friends that I had been here before, but these houses weren't built yet and it was much prettier. I looked down the street and saw the street lights on, lighting the way down the road...

and thats when I woke up...
